About me.
I put myself through college and graduated from UMASS, Amherst, with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with English focus. In my senior year I fell in love with Adobe PageMaker — and my pregnant belly. I raised a very talented son who turned out solid, durable, and a better person than me.
In his younger years I began graphic design with Adobe Photoshop. I then moved on to Journalism and worked for years with U.S. Special Operations Command, Tampa, FL, as a reporter, magazine editor, and photographer. Later years found me doing horse and farm photography, and more composition layout.
I operated my own business for ten years on the south shore of Boston, then went back to school. Fifteen years after Photoshop 4, I discovered the Adobe Creative Cloud, and learned the new interface at Patrick’s Academy, Windsor, CT.
With certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, I was on my way back to graphic design again. After learning Bluehost and WordPress, I began to lay out websites.
All the while I was writing short stories, resumes, and articles. I photographed weddings and completed horse registration photography. Then I went into grant writing. And then I discovered the joy of coin minting.
Now I have my own shop to provide all these skills to all kinds of people. And I love what I do for families and businesses. My mission is to bring your creativity to life.
